Beeston Broncos did their community proud when they entertained Haydock Warriors in a curtain raiser to the Challenge Cup semi- final.
The team were matched against a well organised team in Haydock and stood up to the challenge.
Andy Brown, vice chairman of Beeston Bronocs said: "To see our boys who some have only played together this season was a fantastic experience with a good following behind them I think a few tears of joy were shed on the day.
"I would like to thank every single person who made this day such a memorable day."
