The charity provides a range of services to support and enhance the life of older people (aged 60 or over). living in a geographically defined area within LS11.

* Holbeck Elderly Aid's Mission Statement is as follows:
• To provide a range of services to support and enhance the life of Older People (60 or over). living in a geographically defined area within the Leeds 11 Ward, and in accordance with our Constitution.
• These include a Winter Aid Campaign, Befriending Scheme, Gardening Scheme, Home Security Scheme and a Security Lighting Scheme.
• To assist with Welfare Benefit entitlement checks, and applications.
• To provide Advice Clinics and Advocacy for Older people.
• To Network with other agencies both Statutory and Voluntary, for the benefit of Older People.
• To act as a pressure group in supporting, maintaining, and upholding the interests of Older People.
• To ensure Older People receive accurate information, allowing them to make informed choices.
• To provide support and assistance when Older People are faced with important decisions in their lives.
• To arrange day trips and outings, seasonal festivities and events, and social gatherings for Older People.
• To actively encourage inter-generational involvement and activities, in order to promote and foster Community spirit.
• HEA seeks to promote and practise at all times, and by all representatives of the organisation, it's Equal Opportunities Policy
