Holbeck Gala 2008: Stallholders urged to book spot

Organisers of Holbeck Gala are urging stallholders to book their spot.

In a change to the norm this year's event will be held on a Saturday and for the first time it is joining forces with Breeze youth festival and I Love South Leeds.

There will be cakes and books at the stalls on Holbeck Moor.

Holbeck in Bloom will offer seasonal green-fingered bargains and Leeds Pipe Band is just one of the community groups performing in the annual march to the moor on Saturday August 9.

Breeze will be represented to ensure Holbeck's youngsters have fun and I Love South Leeds will be supporting games for all ages.

The gala runs from 1pm to 5pm.
