Beeston's Hugh Gaitskell primary is securing links with schools across the globe.
Having already made links with Madrid and Romania they have now have secured a new link with Pakistan through the Connecting Classrooms Central South East Asia facilitated by the British Council.

Beeston Today: "As we serve a diverse multi-cultural community in Beeston, we feel that this is very pro-active and positive move for our school and will greatly benefit parents, staff and children by celebrating our customs, our beliefs and working together on an innovative project - which is yet to be decided."
Oftsed inspectors noted on September 2008 that Hugh Gaitskell Primary School was providing a satisfactory and rapidly improving standard of education.
Ms Beesley added: "Our contribution to community cohesion was judged as good with effective links made with other countries enabling the pupils to have a greater understanding of the world around them"
