Other services:

Hate incident reporting centre - A hate incident is any incident that the victim or any other person believes has been motivated by hatred of race, disability, faith or sexual orientation . You can report hate incidents at a one stop centre rather than at a police station. We work with West Yorkshire Police, Stop Hate UK, Victim Support and Yorkshire MESMAC (sexual health project).

Area management team/neighbourhood renewal team
Do you think you need the streets cleaned more often. Are there enough things for young people to do in your area? What about local crime and disorder? See the link to area management for more details or contact 0113 224 3040. The neighbourhood renewal team co-ordinates regeneration activities in Beeston Hill and Holbeck. Call 0113 247 4310.


Environmental health services - We can make an appointment for you to see an environmental health officer about, disabled grants, home improvement grants, houses in multiple occupation, complaints, regeneration, caravan site inspections, and so on.


Holbeck and Beeston information tenants advice team (H.A.B.I.T.A.T) - this service work with individual residents to reduce the causes and effects of social exclusion and of anti – social behaviour. We can make referrals for you or you can ring direct on (0113) 2942050 and ask to speak to the H.A.B.I.T.A.T team.

Citizens Advice Bureau - Information and advice about legal, money and other problems. Drop-in surgery on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am. NB This service has been temporary suspended until further notice.


Credit Union - The Leeds City Credit Union is an organisation that provides straightforward, affordable financial services to a growing number of people in Leeds. Credit Union staff are available on Monday and Tuesday from 8.30am-4pm, on Wednesday from 8.30am-3pm, and on Thursday and Friday from 8.30am-5pm.


Welfare Rights - Advice surgeries for people needing help and advice with welfare benefits and rights. Surgeries are held on Fridays from 10am to 12am. Surgeries are by appointment only so please telephone 0113 214 9006 or ask a member of staff at the centre to book you an appointment.


Victim Support - you can book an appointment by telephoning (0113) 3951260 for support and advice if you have been the victim of a crime.
